Deep breathing is a potent yogic INventure. It’s a technique that develops awareness and is also a useful relaxation skill for stress reduction. In the Spring, deep breathing can be used to alleviate amping up allergies. It strengthens the respiratory system and helps to fight off pollutants and allergies, while detoxing the body for a happy, healthy glow.
Here is a 4 minute deep breathing practice. It’s a sweet start. For additional benefits I recommend 10 -15 minutes of yoga breathing/pranayama, 3 days a week, and more in allergy season.
