Day 2: Juices and Smoothies

Today’s green smoothie is a tropical masterpiece. Seriously, don’t let the green fool you.

Green PiƱa Smoothie
makes 16-20 oz
1 banana
1 cup pineapple
1 small handful greens- spinach or dinosaur kale recommended
1 cup coconut water
2 teaspoons coconut oil (optional)
dash vanilla extract
* I like to keep it pure, but if you want it sweeter you can add a plant-based sweetener such as stevia or agave.

Blend ingredients in blender until smooth.

Pineapple contains of bromelian- which is anti-inflammatory, reduces tumor cell growth and blood clots. Research is being conducted on its positive effects on sinusitis and arthritis.
