Day 6: Chai walla

This is my one of raw healing chai recipes. It’s filling and relaxing.
Healing Raw *Chai*
~ makes 16-20 oz
1/4 cup cashews
2c water
1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
1/2 tsp anise
1/2 tsp ground nutmeg/ cloves
1/4 tsp cayenne or 1/4 inch fresh ginger
1/4 tsp turmeric
4 cardamom pods (split open and use only the inside)
2-3 dates to sweeten
Throw all ingredients in a blender and blend away until it’s silky smooth.
Turmeric is a healing spice that contains cancer-fighting curcumin, reduces joint pain associated with arthritis and helps digestion.
